About me

Who Am I?

Hi I'm Mike Tran. I am an enthusiastic, hard-working and motivating programmer who excels at problem solving. I've always loved coding and anything computer-related which led me to pursue my BS and MS in Computer Science. From then, I have been working as a research assisstant and tech lead at the University of Texas at Dallas. With a Software Engineering lab, I got several publications in prestige conferences. My work involved applying Machine Learning, Deep Learning and NLP methods for Software Engineering. Moving to a different lab, I was promoted to become the Tech Lead of a Unity-developer group. We developed a simulation to help high school students learn Physics. The project was backed by a million-dollar NFS funding. Currently, I'm pursing a MSC in Information Technology System.
